Overview
Corporate Finance examines how financial strategies, investments, and resource allocation shape the success of organizations. At Lisburn University, we delve into the principles and practices that drive financial decision-making and their impact on businesses, markets, and the global economy.
One day in class, your professor might present a real-world case study about a company’s financial restructuring. You and your classmates analyze, critique, and discuss the strategy from various perspectives, such as risk management, capital allocation, and shareholder impact. Then, you propose your own financial strategy based on your insights.
Career Opportunities
Our graduates work and intern in a variety of roles across diverse industries — investment banking, financial planning, corporate treasury, risk management, asset management, private equity, and consulting. Many have also pursued entrepreneurial ventures, launching their own financial firms or startups, while others have advanced their education in graduate programs specializing in finance, economics, business administration, or data analytics.
