Degree Requirements

To earn a bachelor’s degree at Lisburn University, students must complete a minimum number of courses specific to their chosen major, as outlined in the curriculum. These courses are designed to provide foundational knowledge, advanced expertise, and practical applications in the respective field of study.

Program Learning Outcomes

Data Proficiency:
Students will develop the ability to effectively utilize modern programming languages and tools to clean, organize, analyze, visualize, and model large volumes and diverse types of data across various disciplines.

Analytical Expertise:
Students will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of statistical, computational, and critical thinking methods for descriptive and causal analysis applicable to a wide range of academic and professional contexts.

Major Requirements

Completion of Core Curriculum:
Students must complete the university’s core curriculum, which includes foundational courses in areas such as humanities, sciences, mathematics, social sciences, and communication. These courses ensure a well-rounded educational experience.

Credit Requirements: 
Students must fulfill the specific course and credit requirements of their chosen major. This includes completing introductory, intermediate, and advanced-level courses as outlined by their academic program.

Grade Point Average (GPA): 
A minimum cumulative GPA (usually 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale) is required for graduation. Some programs may have higher GPA requirements for major-specific courses.

Students must adhere to all academic and administrative policies, including meeting deadlines for course registration, payment of fees, and maintaining academic integrity throughout their studies.
