Overview
In Business Ethics, we examine the ways in which ethical principles influence decision-making, corporate responsibility, and leadership in the business world. At Lisburn University, we explore how business leaders can use — and sometimes misuse — ethical frameworks to address challenges in corporate governance, social responsibility, and stakeholder relations.
In class, your professor may present a case study of a company’s ethical dilemma. You and your classmates analyze, critique, and discuss the situation from various perspectives, such as the impact on stakeholders, the ethical principles involved, and the long-term consequences. Then, you develop your own solution or approach to resolving the issue, guided by ethical reasoning and business integrity.
Career Opportunities
Our graduates work and intern in a wide variety of roles in fields such as corporate governance, compliance, human resources, sustainability, financial management, and consulting. Many of our graduates go on to become leaders in promoting ethical business practices within organizations.
