Communication Studies

You’ll develop the communication skills and critical thinking abilities needed to analyze, understand, and create meaningful messages across a wide range of careers — empowering you to make a significant impact in any field you choose.

Overview

Business studies examine how organizations operate, the strategies they use, and their impact on the global economy and society. At Lisburn University, we explore the principles of management, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship, equipping students with the knowledge to excel in diverse business environments.

One day in class, your professor might present a real-world case study of a company’s marketing campaign. You and your classmates analyze, critique, and discuss the campaign’s objectives, strategies, and outcomes. Then, you collaborate to design your own innovative business strategy in response.

Career Opportunities

Our graduates work and intern in a wide range of fields, including public relations, marketing, advertising, social media, television, radio, publishing, human resources, event planning, education, and nonprofit organizations. Many have launched successful careers in media production, corporate communication, and advocacy, while others have started their own businesses or pursued advanced degrees in communication, media studies, public relations, and education.
