Overview
Business media examines the ways in which communication shapes the modern business landscape, influencing consumer behavior, branding, and corporate strategy. At Lisburn University, we explore how various media platforms can be utilized—and occasionally misused—to drive innovation, build relationships, and create impact in industries ranging from marketing to public relations and beyond.
In class, your professor might present a viral business campaign or corporate social media post. Together, you and your peers will analyze its medium, messaging, and implied meanings, as well as assess its credibility and its effect on brand perception and audience engagement. Then, you’ll craft your own business media content in response, integrating strategic insights and creativity.
Career Opportunities
Our graduates work and intern in a variety of roles across industries such as marketing, public relations, social media management, corporate communications, advertising, media production, and brand strategy. Many have gone on to launch their own businesses, while others pursue advanced studies in business communication, media studies, marketing, or strategic management.
